On the 4th of July, a group of local youth met at The Endangered Planet Gallery in Laguna Beach California to paint under the guidance and inspiration of visiting Iraqi artist Qais Al Sindy. They painted one half of a 17’ x 5’ mural; and sent it to ICAE in Northampton MA.
The mural was taken to Jordan in the fall and completed by a group of Iraqi youth at the Dar Al Anda Gallery.
